On December 26,
Gallup News announced that for the 16th consecutive year, Americans ranked nurses as having the highest level of honesty and ethical standards among 22 top occupations. More than eight in 10 Americans (82%) describe nurses' ethics as "very high" or "high." Nurses have surpassed all other professions every year but one since Gallup first asked about them in 1999.
