The Executive Development Series (EDS) is designed for leaders in higher education to gain high-level leadership and management skills. Tailored to the challenges and opportunities of those that serve as the Chief Nurse Administrator, this series examines leadership to achieve the vision. Seasoned academic nursing leaders share their experiences and expertise offering tips and tools for faculty and staff engagement, how to develop your leadership team, managing and mitigating risk, and how to overcome obstacles and barriers in leadership to effectively implement your vision.

The Executive Development Series for Deans is a member-only event exclusive to the Chief Nurse Administrator (Dean/Director) of AACN member schools of nursing.
How to Attend:
The Executive Development Series for Deans will be offered as an in-person event prior to the Deans Annual Meeting.

The safety of attendees and staff is our top priority – we will follow all relevant protocols and CDC guidelines and will work closely with the hotel to promote the recommended practices at the time of the event.
Currently all meeting attendees, speakers, partners, and AACN staff are to be fully vaccinated in order to gain access the 2023 Deans Annual Meeting and its pre-event event spaces. Please check back frequently for news and additional guidance as we refine our planning.
Washington DC has no mask mandate; therefore, wearing masks is currently optional.
