2022 Doctoral Education Conference

Nursing Science and Practice: Creating Equity through Doctoral Education

With a strong focus on advancing inclusive excellence, the Doctoral Education Conference will provide a deeper dive into the areas of nursing doctoral education that create tension points and opportunities for change. Conference sessions will offer practical solutions that all program types may implement to foster equity in academia, health care delivery, and local communities. Topics will include creating capacity through the recruitment and retention of diverse research and practice scholars who will collaborate to discover, implement, and translate research. Explore how schools of nursing enable junior faculty to advance their academic careers and attract faculty and students that reflect our diverse communities and global society.

This conference is designed with ample opportunity to meet with friends and colleagues, learn from and interact with renowned experts, and take away successful strategies to help you succeed and excel in your role as an academic nursing leader. Through a fusion of both in-person and virtual experiences, participants may choose how to attend.
