AACN and the Arnold P. Gold Foundation jointly created the AACN-Gold Interprofessional Humanism in Healthcare Award, to recognize the impact of interprofessional collaboration between nurses and physicians that has fostered humanism in healthcare. Nominees must be a nurse-physician pair (or team of 2 nurses, 2 doctors) who are working collaboratively to deliver humanistic patient care.
