AACN recently released a third call for applications for the All of Us Research Program Mini-Grant Awards. AACN member schools of nursing and their community partners who commit to increasing awareness of the All of Us Research Program, a National Institutes of Health (NIH) Program aimed at accelerating health research breakthroughs, can receive up to $10,000. The overall purpose of the program is to extend precision medicine to all diseases by building a national research cohort of one million or more U.S. participants.

AACN partnered with the National Institutes of Health to award $330,000 in grants to over 32 nursing schools across the country. The schools received funding through the AACN Mini-Grants Awards Program to raise awareness of All of Us Research Program with the end goal of increasing participation of underrepresented communities in biomedical research. This story map showcases the great impact these grants have had in our communities.
