The purpose of the Baccalaureate Essentials Tool Kit is to provide resources and exemplars to assist faculty with the implementation of the Essentials of Baccalaureate Education for Professional Nursing Practice (2008). The tool kit provides integrative learning strategies, opportunities for program enhancement, and resources that will assist faculty with the integration of the Baccalaureate Essentials throughout the nursing curriculum. This tool kit includes a review of the nine Baccalaureate Essentials followed by Integrative Learning Strategies, Opportunities for Program Enhancement, Web Links, AACN Presentations, and References.

The (Immunization Resources for Undergraduate Nursing) IRUN framework serves as a guide for nursing faculty on integrating immunization content into a curriculum. Updates to Pediatric Vaccination Schedules - October 26, 2017
The CDC's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices issued an updated pediatric immunization schedule recommending that children should receive their first rotavirus vaccine dose by age 14 weeks and 6 days and their final dose by age 8 months and 0 days, while healthy babies weighing more than 2,000 grams whose mothers are hepatitis B surface antigen negative should receive the hepatitis B vaccine within the first day of life. The updated vaccination schedule also removes the MenHibrix vaccine and includes several formatting changes for easier clinician interpretation.
