The Focus Shift groups use regular check-ins and quiet, virtual coworking sessions to maintain momentum and reduce procrastination to help graduate students stay focused on writing, research, and assignments.
Why Join?
Are you looking to enhance your productivity and stay accountable with your fellow students? The bi-weekly two-hour virtual sessions offer the perfect opportunity to write or study alongside your peers in a supportive environment.
What to Expect:
Regular Meetings: Join us for the sessions below that work best with your schedule. Each session will be open for a two-hour time frame and will take place every two weeks.
Structured Support: Benefit from a clear framework to help you make consistent progress on your assignments and projects.
Community and Accountability: Engage with fellow participants to stay motivated and inspired.
Register for the session that best works with your schedule. Each session will start with the participants sharing their goals for the session followed by active writing/study time. You will be surrounded by peers who share your commitment to meet their goals. The last five to ten minutes will be used to debrief and share potential tips or resources that may be helpful.
