The Brave of Heart Nursing Scholarship is available to assist students pursuing associate or Bachelor of Science degrees in nursing who clearly demonstrate intent to positively impact healthcare outcomes for the communities they will serve.

California Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development lists the Bachelor of Science Nursing Scholarship for students in California.

CEUfast Undergraduate Nursing Scholarship is available in the amount of $1,000 to nursing students currently enrolled in accredited programs and who have completed at least one semester within their nursing program.

FNSNA Undergraduate Scholarship is available to students currently enrollment and matriculated in a state-approved nursing program leading to an associate degree, baccalaureate, diploma, generic pre-licensure doctorate or generic pre-licensure master’s degree; or enrolled in an RN to BSN completion, RN to MSN completion, or LPN/LVN to RN program.

National Black Nurses Association, Inc (NBNA) provides annual scholarships for students who are a NBNA member or local chapter member, currently enrolled in an undergraduate nursing program, and have at least one full year of school remaining.

Tafford Uniforms awards $1,000 to a nursing student at an accredited college or university in the U.S. (who has at least one semester remaining prior to graduation from the program).

American Assembly for Men in Nursing Foundation is sponsoring five student scholarships to male students pursuing undergraduate and graduate nursing degrees.

American Association of Post-Acute Care Nursing offers scholarships through their foundation for students pursuing a BSN or higher. 

American Indian Graduate Center (AIGC) offers a series of scholarships for eligible American Indian and Alaskan Natives.

American Red Cross awards the Jane Delano Student Nurse Scholarship to both undergraduate nursing students and graduate nursing students who are a volunteer or employee of the American Red Cross Unit.

The Banyan Scholarship for Clinical Education and Healthcare Professions offers $1,000 worth of grant to support working students in healthcare fields. This scholarship is open to students pursuing careers in healthcare, including medical, mental health, addiction treatment, clinical, and social care professions.

DiversityNursing.com, a niche website for Nurses from student Nurses up to CNOs, is offering a $5,000 Education Award. You must be enrolled as a full-time or part-time student in an accredited School of Nursing in a professional registered nurse program (baccalaureate, graduate, associate degree or diploma) OR work Full-Time, Part-Time or Per Diem as a Registered Nurse, LPN, Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Leader/Administrator at a U.S. based organization.

EduMed Medical and Healthcare Scholarships: 50 of the top available scholarships across 7 different healthcare fields, including dental, nursing, medical assisting, and healthcare leadership. EduMed also has resources for Black students.

GIC HIMSS Scholarship Program provides two scholarships to qualified students in accredited programs in health management, health information technology, management programs with a health focus, or technology programs with a focus in healthcare information technology.

The Gina Rose Montalto Memorial Foundation 17 for 17 Nursing Scholarship is giving out 17 scholarships in the amount of $1,000 for nursing students to help expand the ranks of those working so hard to get our nation through these difficult times.

GoodRx Helps 2024 Students for Healthcare Equity Scholarship invites healthcare students from underrepresented groups to apply for a $5,000 scholarship toward their degree or certification, renewable for up to three years for a potential award amount of $20,000.

Hispanic Association of Colleges & Universities offers scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students attending a HACU Member or Partner college or university.

The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) is designed to assist students of Hispanic heritage obtain a college degree. Scholarships are available, on a competitive basis, to high school seniors, undergraduate students, community college students transferring to four year universities, and graduate students.

Indian Health Service (IHS) offers scholarships to American Indian and Alaska Native health professions students in both undergraduate and graduate programs.

National Association of Hispanic Nurses (NAHN) members enrolled in accredited undergraduate and graduate nursing programs are presented scholarships based on their demonstration of professional contributions to the nursing profession and have the potential to be role models to aspiring nursing students.

Nurse.org offers the Healthcare Leaders Scholarship to students entering or currently pursuing an educational program related to nursing or medicine.

NURSE Corps Scholarship Program (NCSP), helps students complete their nursing education by paying tuition, fees, other education costs, while providing a monthly living stipend. The program is open to full-time nursing students accepted or enrolled in diploma, associate, baccalaureate or graduate nursing programs at accredited schools located in the U.S. Upon graduation, scholarship program members fulfill a service commitment at a Critical Shortage Facility.

The Oncology Nursing Society Foundation awards academic scholarships for students pursuing a baccalaureate, master's, or doctoral degree or a post-master's certificate.

RegisteredNursing.org offers the $1,000 "RN to BSN/MSN Challenge" Scholarship for RNs working to get their BSN or MSN degree. 

Scholarships & Resources for Native American and Alaskan Native Students offers scholarships and other resources for Native American and Alaskan Native students both before and after their education.

Sigma Theta Tau International maintains a list of nursing scholarships available through organizations and specific nursing schools.

Tillman Military Scholars program supports our nation’s active and veteran service members and their spouses by removing financial barriers to completing a degree program of choice. The scholarships cover not only direct study-related expenses such as tuition and fees, but also other needs, including housing and child care.

TYLENOL® Future Care Scholarship Program awards a total of $250,000 in scholarship funds to 40 undergraduate and graduate students pursuing an education in healthcare.

The Senior Care Scholarship offered by A Place for Mom is available to students enrolled in a bachelor's degree or graduate level program in nursing at an accredited four-year university. A scholarship in the amount of $1,000 each will be awarded based on their letter of introduction and a 400 to 700 word essay on life lessons they have learned from a senior.

The Vohra Wound Care Scholarship for Nursing Education and Nursing Certifications exists to provide a scholarship to current nurses or nursing students in pursuit of a nursing degree, who seek financial assistance and show interest in earning a wound care certification.

American Cancer Society provides scholarships in cancer nursing. Doctoral Scholarships in cancer nursing provide support for study in a doctoral degree program in nursing or a related area that will prepare the graduate for a career as a cancer nurse scientist. The Graduate Scholarship in cancer nursing practice supports graduate students pursuing a master’s degree in cancer nursing or a doctorate of nursing practice.

CEUfast Graduate Nursing Scholarship is available in the amount of $5,000 to nursing students currently enrolled in accredited programs and who have completed at least one semester within their nursing program.

GradSchools.com is offering a $2,000 scholarship for minority nurses to help fund their graduate school degree.

March of Dimes awards scholarships to registered nurses enrolled in graduate programs of maternal-child nursing.

MinuteClinic awards up to 40 Nurse Practitioner Scholarships at $2,500 each and up to 20 Doctor of Nursing Practice Scholarships at $2,500 each.

National Health Service Corps, a division of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, offers a scholarship program to Nurse Practitioners students (post graduate degree with clinical practice focus) at an accredited U.S. school.

Nursing Economic$ Foundation awards up to four $5,000 scholarships will be awarded to registered nurses in a Masters or Doctoral nursing program with an emphasis on administration or management for the upcoming school year.

Federal Student Aid provides grants, loans, and work-study funds for college or career school. It offers more than $150 billion each year to help millions of students pay for higher education.

FedMoney.org is an online guide to all U.S. federal government financial aid programs.

Campaign for Action is a national nursing organization backed by the AARP Foundation, AARP, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation that focuses on implementing the recommendations of the Institute of Medicine's Future of Nursing report. The site has a list of resources available for nurses by state.

International Education Financial Aid (IEFA) scholarship search is a resource for financial aid, college scholarship and grant information for international students wishing to study abroad.

Johnson & Johnson's Discover Nursing website has an extensive nursing scholarships search feature.

Maryland Higher Education Commission offers tuition reductions to non-residents of Maryland who attend an undergraduate nursing program at a two-year or four-year Maryland public institution.

National Hartford Center of Gerontological Nursing Excellence (NHCGNE) offers the Innovation Award to a member or team of NHCGNE members and the Student Travel Awards to early career pre-doctoral and doctoral students who promote gerontological nursing excellence.

Nurses' Educational Funds, Inc. distributes funds to baccalaureate prepared registered nurses in need of nursing scholarship assistance for their graduate studies.

The Rural Assistance Center (RAC) is a product of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Rural Initiative established in December 2002 as a rural health and human services information portal. RAC helps rural communities and other rural stakeholders access the full range of available programs, funding, and research that can enable them to provide quality health and human services to rural residents.

The Foundation of National Student Nurses' Association, Inc. offers fellowships and grants for students pursuing nursing education.

The GNSA PhD-DNP Collaboration Grant offered through AACN's Foundation for Academic Nursing, supports innovative collaborations among students in PhD and DNP programs. The grant awards $2,000 to support a scholarly initiative focused on generating new knowledge and translating research into practice. 

The Oncology Nursing Society Foundation offers grants to increase the knowledge base for oncology nursing practice, and prepare future oncology nurse researchers.

The Promise of Nursing Regional Faculty Fellowship offered through the Foundation of National Student Nurses' Association, Inc., awards $1,000 to $7,500 to RNs preparing for the nurse educator role to obtain their degree.

Army Nurse Corps Benefits provides the Health Professions Loan Repayment Program in exchange for active duty service in the U.S. Army.

The Disadvantaged Faculty Loan Repayment Program (FLRP) provides for repayment of education loans for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds who agree to serve for at least two years as faculty members at eligible health professions and nursing schools.

Federal Student Aid provides a listing of loans available for college or career school.

Indian Health Service (IHS) administers a program to help repay undergraduate and graduate loans of health professionals in return for full-time clinical service in Indian health programs.

International Education Financial Aid (IEFA) offers a list of international student loans.

National Health Service Corps, a division of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, offers the NHSC Loan Repayment Program for health care professionals (including Nurse Practitioners) who must work in an underserved, NHSC-approved site.

The NURSE Corps Loan Repayment Program helps alleviate the shortage of nurses across the country by offering loan repayment assistance to registered nurses and advance practice nurses, such as nurse practitioners, working at Critical Shortage facilities and nurse faculty employed at accredited schools of nursing. Program participants receive up to 60 percent of their qualifying student loans in exchange for a 2-year service commitment – and an additional 25 percent of their original loan balance for an optional third year.

The Health Professions Education Foundation offers a list of loan repayment programs.

The Kaiser Permanente Student Financial Aid Program awards need-based nursing financial aid to students in California. Loans are available in a variety of nursing and professional/technical specialties, and may be forgiven through qualifying employment with Kaiser Permanente.
