IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT - AACN's March Events Cancelled
Given the unfolding public health concern posed by the Coronavirus and the critical leadership roles our members play on campus and in their home communities related to care delivery and prevention, AACN has moved to cancel the Deans Annual Meeting, Executive Development Series for Deans, Student Policy Summit, and the Nursing Advancement Professionals Conference planned for March 19-24, 2020 in Washington, DC. This difficult decision was made after much deliberation, a review of the latest evidence, and in the best interest of our members’ health and safety.
Full refunds of the registration fees will be processed for the cancelled events within the next 30 days. We urge you to contact your hotel to cancel your room reservation at least 72 hours in advance of when you were scheduled to arrive. Most major airlines are currently waiving change/cancellation fees for tickets purchased for March travel. For additional questions regarding these conferences, please reach out to conferences@aacnnursing.org.
AACN's Advancing Academic Leadership for New Deans meeting and CCNE's Invitational Workshop on Writing Self Studies will continue with an online offering, and additional information will be shared with those respective registrants shortly.
