As we reach the midpoint of 2026 and near the end of the 119th Congress, AACN remains actively engaged in advancing federal policies that support nursing education, workforce development, research, and student success. Against a rapidly evolving legislative and regulatory landscape, our advocacy efforts continue to ensure that the voice of academic nursing is heard on Capitol Hill and throughout the Administration.
