House Adopts $3.5 Trillion Budget Resolution Research Program Mini-Grant Award
On August 24, the U.S. House of Representatives adopted the $3.5 trillion budget resolution (S.Con.Res. 14) by a vote of 220-212. With S.Con.Res 14 adopted in the Senate on August 11, this House vote starts the budgetary process where House Committees will begin drafting the spending and tax legislation as outlined by the budget resolution. This vote also coincided with an agreement in the House to move the Senate’s $550 billion infrastructure package, the INVEST in America Act (H.R. 3684), forward. AACN will continue to monitor both the budget reconciliation process and the infrastructure package as Congress returns from their August Recess.
