Congress Passes the Dr. Lorna Breen Health Care Provider Protection Act

Last week, Congress passed the Dr. Lorna Breen Health Care Provider Protection Act. This bipartisan legislation would establish grants to improve mental and behavioral health and prevent burnout among healthcare providers, including nurses. The bill now heads to the President’s desk to be signed into law. AACN has long supported this effort and applauds Congress for passing this important legislation.
