2023 Student Policy Summit

AACN’s Student Policy Summit (SPS) is going bigger and bolder in 2023! This exclusive event, held in our nation’s capital March 26-27, 2023, is open to baccalaureate and graduate students enrolled at AACN member institutions. Up to two students can attend per institution and should have approval from the dean of that school. Students who attend SPS are immersed in didactic program sessions focused on the federal policy process and nursing’s role in professional advocacy. Want to send more than two students? Important Update Regarding In-Person Attendance at AACN Conferences:

Vaccination Requirements

Last updated September 20, 2022

Your well-being is AACN’s No. 1 priority!

AACN has revised its policies for the health and safety of in-person conference attendance. All meeting attendees, speakers, partners, and AACN staff are required to show verification of full COVID-19 vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours of travel in order to obtain access to event spaces. Unvaccinated individuals or those unable to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test will not be permitted to attend.

AACN will be utilizing a Digital Verification Process through Health Pass by CLEAR, which provides a secure, digital verification of your vaccination status or negative test results via the free CLEAR mobile app. AACN will provide detailed instructions to all in-person attendees approximately 10 days prior to the conference start date.

AACN will continue to monitor any new developments and evaluate what is needed to ensure you are comfortable and we meet safely. We will keep all participants updated as we get closer to the event.

Mask Requirement

Washington DC has no mask mandate; therefore, wearing masks is currently optional.
