Faculty Scholars Grant Program

AACN is seeking proposals to assess the impact of didactic and clinical learning experiences on teaching health policy to undergraduate and/or graduate nursing students, including the utilization of those experiences. One $25,000 grant will be awarded for a policy-focused project involving curriculum innovation and student learning measurement.

AACN is also accepting proposals that examine the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) in nursing education and learning assessment. One $25,000 grant will be awarded for research measuring key aspects of nursing education, such as student outcomes and faculty development.

GNSA PhD-DNP Collaboration Grant Program

The Graduate Nursing Student Academy (GNSA) announced a new grant to support innovative collaborations among students in PhD and DNP programs. The GNSA will award a $2,000 grant to support a scholarly initiative focused on generating new knowledge and translating research into practice. Grant recipients will provide exemplars for how future doctoral students can collaborate in ways that advance nursing science and practice.

The John P. McGovern Lectureship Award

This award honors John P. McGovern for his noted clinical practice and research, and distinguished record of scholarship, skill, and service. Award recipients are chosen by the AACN Board of Directors on the basis of their scholarship and the notability of their contributions to nursing, health care, or higher education. Recipients regularly address the membership at AACN's Academic Nursing Leadership Conference.
