From Prebrief to Debrief: Building Conversation Competence in Simulation

Facilitating healthy conversations is key to providing nursing students with a safe space for learning through simulation. In collaboration with Laerdal Medical, AACN has produced three sets of videos on prebriefing, coaching, and debriefing a simulation event. Each set has two scenarios—a successful conversation and a conversation that showcases an opportunity for improvement—as well as a script and teaching points document that serves as a reference point for faculty.
